• What is a Retrouvaille Program?
  • The Retrouvaille Program consist of a weekend experience combined with post weekend sessions. The program provides the tools to help put your marriage in order again. The main emphasis is on communications between husband and wife. The program offers you the opportunity to rediscover each other and examine your lives together in a new and positive way.

  • What the program is NOT.

    It is not a retreat or sensitivity group. There are no group dynamics or group discussions on the weekend. This is not a time for hurting; it is a time for healing.

  • Who will benefit?

    Couples with troubled marriages, including separated or divorced couples, open to working on their marriages will benefit

  • Is the program faith based?

    The program is Catholic in origin. Couples of all faiths and those of no particular faith tradition are welcome.

  • When?

    The weekend phase begins Friday evening and closes with Mass early Sunday evening.

  • What Happens in a Retrouvaille Program?

    During the weekend phase, a series of presentations are given by a team of three couples and a priest. The team presents a technique of communication that enables you to take a fresh look at most areas of your relationship. After each presentation, you have time in the privacy of your room to reflect on the previous topic. The post-weekend phase is as crucial to healing as the initial weekend experience. During the post sessions, the techniques introduced during the weekend are further developed and combined with additional tools to explore other areas of the marriage relationship.

  • What does the program cost?

    No couple is ever denied the chance to heal and renew their marriage due to a lack of funds. Each couple is asked to make an anonymous donation to help cover the cost of the entire program.
